I spend few days on uninhabited and unmapped island in the Volga river near of busy and noisy city center of the Nizhny Novgorod. I tried to find a calm and nature place to watch on the city life in distance. Mapped the island in absurd collage form.

The tent, hiking equipment, a boat, paper, glue, touristic maps.

The project has been presented on art shows: Imagined Journey, a solo show at the Syntax Gallery, Moscow (2022); Out of place. New landscapes, at the CCI Fabrika, Moscow (2023).
